Janet Shisler, President Janet started with the club in 1995. As a hobbyist, she needs the honeybees to help pollinate her 5 acre tract of U-Pick blueberries at her Cloud 9 Farm. As a retired school teacher, she loves the educational activities to share and to be around this nature-loving crowd.

David Cox, Immediate Past President David has been a hobbyist beekeeper for six years. He has served as Director and President for the BCBC. He is a property manager and Realtor for J.D. Jackson Associates. His other hobbies are kayaking, hiking, photography and working in his shop.
Nancy Worsham, Treasurer Nancy is a third generation hobbyist beekeeper. She works as a truss designer (roof and floor) for Stock Building Supply. She enjoys photography, sailing, remodeling her old house and maintaining her yard. She started beekeeping 2-1/2 years ago after taking a short course from Chris Mathis and getting her first hive from Edd Buchanan. She currently has two hives that are still alive (so far) and thinks that humans could learn a lot from watching bees cooperate.

community, has been bee keeping since 2000. His other interests include photography and volunteering at the Cradle of Forestry as the vegetable gardener. He currently has two hives.

Darrell Steenwyk, Director Darrell is a first year beekeeper who started with a package of bees and a new hive and for his second hive, captured a colony by cutting it out from a wall of a house. He lives in Arden with his wife and two children.
